A huge benefit of the Rena Smart Heater, especially useful for large and aggressive tropical fish or Turtles is that it is unbreakable. Made of composite materials, the Smart Heater is resistant to mechanical or thermal shocks. Safe to handle, the product also incorporates a safety feature that switches the heater off when it is not totally submerged in water.
