SERA Siporax is a fully biological filter material
for all External and Trickle filters. It is also suitable for garden pond
filters.
Because it is made from sintered glass,1 litre if
Siporax provides as much bacteria settling area as 34 litres of ceramic
filter materials! Therefore 1 litre of SERA
Siporax ensures more than 200 litres (44 gallons) of biologically clean
aquarium water! It is this aspect that makes Siporax an excellent choice for
small filters.
SERA Siporax can also help
keep Nitrates down, because it allows anaerobic bacteria lots of open-pored
tunnel structures which, in turn provide areas low in oxygen, which are
ideal for the bacteria.

Sera Super Carbon 1000gm
Sera super carbon absorbs poison and colouring materials
fast and reliably. Seras super carbon gives for crystal-clear water in
freshwater and marine water aquariums. Sera super carbon does not affect the
pH value.
Sera carbon hold poison and colours it has taken
out of the water so even after six weeks there's no danger of the poisons
getting back again into the water. 250 gram are enough for 100 litres
freshwater and for 50 litres marine waters. Sera super carbon is phosphate
and nitrate-free. During cure treatments the activated charcoal must be
removed from the filter cycle.

SERA Super Peat releases
valuable humic acids and trace elements into the aquarium, in a correctly
dosed, slow-release manner. Depending on the
present water values, SERA Super Peat will lower
Carbonate Hardness(KH) and thus pH, making your aquarium water a much
happier place for species from soft, acidic water regions (i.e. Amazonia).
Even if fish species which originate from
these areas are captive bred, they will not show their true colours and
behavioural patterns in water that isn't soft and acidic! And you certainly
won't have much success in breeding them.....
Moreover, SERA Super Peat
inhibits the growth of fungus, bacteria and algae.
